There is a War Between the Humans and the Machines and the Dogs and the Cats
Before Steven Janowski became the plucky assistant to the greatest baseball player who ever lived, Mr. Kenny Powers, he had some problems. He lost his way and as you can see in the above clip from the police documentary series, Reno 911, things could've turned out a lot worse for the guy. Personally, this is my favorite segment I've ever seen on the show.
Gay Robot: The show that never was
Here's the thing: Nick Swardson is a comedic genius. He really is, and if you don't believe me, then die in a fire. Or, you could just YouTube some of his stuff. Whichever you prefer.
ANYWHO, Nick pitched a show idea to Comedy Central some time back called Gay Robot. As one would imagine, it follows the exploits of a homosexual robot, however this one would be at college. Some of the clips are on YouTube and, uh, have been for quite some time, but it's new to me, and thus this blog post. You can watch the one clip above, but for the rest, you'll need to navigate past the break. Just keep an eye out for the polar bears that managed to claim the lives of four Lithuanians earlier today. The clips are well worth the risk, though, I assure you.
Witness the brilliance that is FoneJacker
Comedy Central recently started doing this 2A thing, which I guess is some type of "we wish we were Adult Swim" kind of deal where they run episodes of Kenny vs Spenny late at night on the weekends. I don't watch much TV myself (aside from Tosh.0, that is) and saw this over at a friend's house last weekend. Before that awful garbage that was Kenny vs Spenny, Comedy Central played this show called FoneJacker.
It might have been the best thing I've ever seen. If you're a fan of The Jerky Boys or prank calls, then you need to check this out. I suggest you start on YouTube and later move on to crying yourself to sleep because there's only Region 2 DVDs available and you probably live in the US like me.
Good TV: Tosh.0

A friend of mine is a big fan of Daniel Tosh, both his stand-up and his acts as a human being. Never having seen this Mr. Tosh do anything, I was a bit wary of the proposal for an internet-themed TV show. G4 has the same thing, and we all know how amazing (note the sarcasm) that network is, so if that channel comes up with an idea, it's likely one that shouldn't be emulated, right? Boy, was I wrong ...
