My Usual E3 Wrap-Up Post

It's been pretty quiet here. Excuse me while I clear out some of the cobwebs.

...

Ah, much better. Now, onto the business of content!

I've been pretty busy for the last couple weeks. Following a pre-E3 camping trip up to Wellsboro, PA, I had to deal with the hell that is the Electronic Entertainment Expo and a subsequent weekend vaykay in the wonderful San Francisco. The before- and after-show were fun, but I kinda have a love/hate relationship with E3 -- it's incredibly exhausting but, uh, helps keep the bills paid.

E3 2009: Score 1 for swine flu

e3logodp

I may be overreacting (Probably. Definitely.), but I did get pretty sick (so far, I've been sick for exactly 1 week) during the week of E3. Despite that, I still managed to kick ass and wrote more posts than everyone else at Joystiq. They may have been Nyquil-fueled and incredibly, uh, crazy, but a post is a post, dammit. In your faces, talented coworkers of mine!

If you need to catch up on anything, follow this handy link. Oh, and before you ask, yes, Scribblenauts is the real deal. Promise.

So, this E3 2009 business …

e3convention

You may have noticed a severe lack in content here lately, and it's mostly due to E3 stuff. The show is returning to form this year, and Joystiq has been kicking ass in planning what we're all going to see, and cover, at this year's show. I'm pretty busy with that because, uh, it's my job, so you're likely to see my personal site here take a backseat for a short period.

I'm going to try and get things up here as I can (I'd like to do daily recaps from my own perspective, and not just links to stuff I wrote on Joystiq, but we'll see how that pans out), but don't expect a lot over the next 2 or 3 weeks. I suggest you instead follow me on Twitter (@DaveHinkle), as I'll be on there like crazy during the show.
