I’m in love with my Palm Pre
I've never been much of a tech/gadget junkie (outside of gaming, of course), but I started to get kind of pumped for the Palm Pre. Working with so many iPhone users, I would often find myself jealous of what the phone/gaming platform can do, and I started to want something like that for myself. E3 was the icing on the cake, as being around 800 other individuals with iPhones was just too much. So, I took the plunge, and while I think the Pre isn't rivaling the iPhone in terms of what it can do (yet, anyway), I do think it's the best phone I've ever had.
I hate you, Palm Treo 720p
At first, I loved my Treo. It let me check email, surfing the internet wasn't a big pain and it had a full QWERTY keyboard. But, for some reason now, the damn thing keeps turning itself off and on, at random. It's a BIG pain in the ass. Alternatives? Not much out there (for Sprint, anyway). I could go Blackberry, but then I'd lose the touch screen capabilities. I could go with the new Instinct, but Sprint gouges you on the price (I'd be paying $100 a month for the same features I'm paying like almost $70 for right now). Aside from those, what else is there really? I wouldn't mind getting another Palm, but I need Windows Mobile OS, because the Palm OS sucks the big one.
