Ethan Mars Gets Crunk With the Kids
I wanted to do something cool for my 2,000th Tweet -- the jury is still out on that, but, hey, it's an hour of work you got out of me. In the high stakes world of ridiculous internet videos, I hope that sixty minutes will at least equate to one individual's enjoyment. If I've succeeded there, then I can feel good about this three minute long attempt at humor.

Quick ‘n Dirty Review: Heavy Rain (PS3)
Heavy Rain is way more grounded than Indigo Prophecy and never takes the weird, out-of-left-field twists and turns Cage's previous title did. Because of that, Heavy Rain ends up being a far more compelling and interesting narrative -- but there's still plenty of problems here.
Quick ‘n Dirty Review: Uncharted 2 (PS3)
Uncharted 2 is Game of the Year. It feels odd to say that before Modern Warfare 2 releases and before I'll get a chance to play (and love) Assassin's Creed 2, but it seems like the odds stacked against those two very high-profile games are insurmountable; Uncharted 2 is about as close to integrating a big budget blockbuster film with the immersion and gameplay of a top-notch AAA title as you can get.
Quick ‘n Dirty Review: Wet (Xbox 360)
In an attempt to get more content on my blog (it's starving, the poor little guy!), I'm going to try and do brief reviews for games I'm playing to supplement the other random junk that finds its way here. EA’s in-game ads: Where’s the line?
I've been playing a couple of EA's latest recently,Madden 10 and Fight Night Round 4. I usually cave and get Madden every year because A) I like sports B) I'm weak. Fight Night Round 4 came courtesy of Gamefly and, upon booting up the game and stepping into the ring, I was bombarded with ads for The Final Destination. I'm not just talking a simple banner ad on the canvas here. The ad was shown during loading screens, it was on every turnbuckle and was shoved in my face during the healing minigame that takes place between rounds (Note: In my disgust, I sent back Fight Night Round 4 before I could capture any evidence of the over-advertising, but, those of you who own the game, I'm sure you can corroborate with me here). Godfather II review for Joystiq
I reviewed EA's Godfather II for Joystiq today. It just went live a little bit ago, so check out the changes EA implemented into the second game by giving it a read. It's surprising how much they improved the first game, which was pretty fun.
YouTube optimized for Wii, PS3
I did a quick guide to using YouTube on Wii yesterday. YouTube has launched YouTube for Television, which is a version of the site built for the Wii and PS3's web browsers. Check out my Wii walkthrough here and see PS3 Fanboy for a video of it on the PS3.
My 5 best games of 2008
I've been thinking long and hard about what my 5 favorite games for 2008 are. I knew what my favorite game was immediately, and one other game guaranteed itself a spot on the list, but what about the other 3? It's tough to pick, considering just how many games released. But, I'm glad to say that I've finally narrowed my list down to 5 games. Here they are.
